This customer is the second charging network operator in Georgia to partner with Anari Energy, further strengthening the company’s presence in the rapidly developing EV charging market of the Caucasus region. As electric vehicle adoption continues to grow across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the demand for robust and climate-resistant charging solutions is becoming increasingly important.
For this project, the customer selected Anari Energy’s 120kW and 180kW Integrated Floor-Mounted DC EV Charging Stations with Dual Guns, designed specifically to deliver high-performance charging under demanding environmental conditions. Engineered for extreme-weather operation, these DC fast charging stations offer a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, ensuring reliable performance in both severe winters and hot summer environments.
Unlike conventional charging equipment that often experiences significant power derating at low temperatures, Anari Energy’s charging stations are capable of maintaining normal charging performance even when ambient temperatures remain between -40°C and -20°C. This capability enables charging network operators to provide consistent and dependable charging services throughout the year, minimizing disruptions caused by harsh weather conditions.
The secret behind this exceptional cold-weather performance lies in Anari Energy’s innovative engineering design. The chargers feature a Reserved Heater Interface, which supports the integration of an optional heating module specifically developed for ultra-low-temperature applications. When activated, the heating system rapidly increases the operating temperature of critical power components, allowing the charger to quickly reach optimal output levels and maintain high charging efficiency in freezing environments.
This innovative design not only enhances charging reliability but also helps operators reduce maintenance risks, improve equipment availability, and maximize station utilization rates during winter months. For regions where temperatures frequently drop well below freezing, such as Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and other parts of the Caucasus and Central Asia, this technology provides a significant competitive advantage for charging network operators seeking to expand their EV infrastructure.
