Case: Charging station project in Oman highway
Product: 22kW AC Wallbox charger
Address: Oman
We are pleased to announce that Anari Energy’s 22kW Type 2 Floor-Mounted Public Charging Stations have been successfully deployed along key highway corridors in Oman, marking an important milestone in the company’s expansion across the Middle East. This project represents Anari Energy’s first successful entry into the Omani market and further strengthens the company’s presence in the region’s rapidly developing EV charging infrastructure sector.
The customer has purchased more than 150 AC charging stations from Anari Energy as part of its long-term charging network development plan. In the first phase of deployment, 10 charging stations were installed and commissioned simultaneously, providing convenient, reliable, and accessible charging services for local electric vehicle owners and travelers. The successful launch of these stations establishes a solid foundation for future network expansion across the country.

Supporting the Development of Oman’s EV Charging Infrastructure
As countries across the Gulf region accelerate their energy diversification and sustainability initiatives, Oman is increasingly embracing electric mobility as part of its long-term transportation and environmental development strategy. The growing adoption of electric vehicles is creating demand for a comprehensive charging network capable of supporting both urban and intercity travel.
Highway charging infrastructure is particularly important in Oman due to the country’s extensive road network and the increasing need for convenient charging access between major cities and economic centers. By deploying charging stations along highways, operators can help reduce range anxiety, improve travel convenience, and encourage greater EV adoption among local drivers and visitors alike.
The installation of Anari Energy’s charging stations contributes directly to the development of a more connected and accessible EV charging ecosystem, helping support the country’s transition toward cleaner transportation solutions.
Reliable 22kW AC Charging Solutions for Public Applications
The 22kW Type 2 Floor-Mounted Public Charging Station is designed to provide safe, efficient, and dependable charging performance in a wide variety of public and commercial environments. Utilizing the widely adopted Type 2 charging standard, the stations offer broad compatibility with many electric vehicle models available across the Middle East and international markets.
These chargers are particularly suitable for locations where vehicles typically remain parked for moderate periods, including highway rest areas, commercial centers, hotels, office complexes, public parking facilities, and transportation hubs. The 22kW charging capability delivers an effective balance between charging speed and infrastructure investment, making it an attractive solution for both operators and EV users.
The floor-mounted design ensures installation flexibility and long-term durability, while intelligent control and safety protection systems help maintain reliable operation and a positive user experience.
A Major Order Reflecting Strong Market Confidence
The customer’s decision to purchase more than 150 charging stations demonstrates strong confidence in Anari Energy’s products, manufacturing capabilities, and technical support services. Such large-scale deployments are becoming increasingly important as charging operators seek to establish nationwide charging networks capable of meeting future demand.
By rolling out charging infrastructure in phases, operators can strategically expand network coverage while ensuring efficient resource allocation and sustainable growth. The successful commissioning of the first 10 stations marks the beginning of a broader infrastructure development initiative that will continue to strengthen Oman’s charging network.
Accelerating Sustainable Transportation in the Gulf Region
Beyond providing convenient charging services, this project supports broader environmental and economic objectives by encouraging the adoption of cleaner transportation technologies. As electric vehicles become a more common part of daily mobility, charging infrastructure will play a central role in reducing transportation-related emissions and supporting national sustainability goals.
Anari Energy remains committed to helping customers throughout the Middle East build reliable and future-ready EV charging networks. Through innovative technology, high-quality products, and strong local partnerships, the company continues to support the growth of electric mobility and contribute to the region’s transition toward a more sustainable energy future.
The successful deployment in Oman not only marks Anari Energy’s first project in the country but also serves as an important step in expanding the company’s footprint across the Gulf region, supporting the development of modern EV charging infrastructure and accelerating the adoption of electric transportation.
